Rainbows is the youngest part of the Girl Guide movement. It is a group for girls aged 5 to 7 years.

The unit which holds meetings at St.Matthew's is called I^st Lightcliffe Rainbow Unit.

Meetings are held every Tuesday during term time, in the Nyamatare Room from 5.45 -6.45 p.m. 

They have lots of fun doing crafts, games and other acitivities.

The group join in Church Parade Sunday once every 2 months, carrying their Rainbow up to the Altar with the other organisations' flags (see the dates for forthcoming Parade Sundays in the Information Section-Junior Church-Church Parade).
